Registered Psychotherapist

Naomi Midanik profile photo

Hi, I’m Naomi.

I focus on helping professionals find balance between their work and personal lives.

I have had the privilege of supporting many people in adjusting to and overcoming life’s challenges. I have experience providing therapy to adults in a group private practice setting, and to residents at a maternity and shelter home.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 17 years in progressive leadership roles in marketing in the consumer-packaged goods, banking, and not for profit industries. During this time, I managed people and teams, with a focus on helping colleagues reach their fullest potential. Through my own personal journey to find balance and live by my values, I made the career change that led me back to my true passion, helping others.

My approach is centered on authenticity and curiosity.

Therapy with me starts with getting to know the real you. Together, we explore what you’re thinking and feeling to discover your personal truth. I know the value of addressing what’s behind those distressing feelings and fully stepping into who you are and what you care about. I believe in tailoring my approach to you: I use therapeutic strategies from a variety of different evidence-based theories, drawing upon what resonates and fits best with you.

My style as a therapist is genuine, warm, and direct, with a little humour sprinkled in. I believe that therapy can be energizing and enjoyable.

I look forward to working together to help you find your balance.
